Good for the money,
A great all around drill for $50. I have three cordless drills that are pretty cheap and was getting sick and tired of the batteries always dieing in the middle of my projects. I dont mind an extension cord because i’m usually working in one place at home. My only problem with the drill is the vsr. It goes from 0 to 2500 rpm way too fast and there isnt much “in between”. So be carefull when driving screws because its very easy to go too deep. I still like it though.

|Overall good…but not perfct.,
Im not a contractor or anything, but I think its good for everyone to have their own set of tools to take care of most jobs. For around the house, this is a great overall drill. I wanted something corded (no cordless) as to ensure constant torque at all times. However the only problem I found is similar to the last post….This thing is touchy…Its hard to control the speed, and it is very easy to “over drill” your screws…and screw anchors. So if you want that flush appearance, be careful.
Otherwise seems solid. The only problem is that it was built in China. I was told most all power tools..especially drills are made overseas, with the exception of Milwaukee and Dewalt power drills. However upon inspection this drill IS made in China. But Amazon didnt specify in the description, so I wont hold that against them.
One issue I did have, was the picture did show a carrying case with it earlier. After I received the item, and found no case, I went back to the item description…and the picture changed, ha. But no biggie, my toolbox is big enough to accommodate.
All in all, would recommend this to anyone that wants an inexpensive drill that they will use occasionally….just wish it was made in the USA…

|A bit touchy,
First off I want to say that this drill is incredible!! It is powerful, built with quality in mind, and the keyless chuck is easy on the hands. My one draw back (and the only reason it did not get 5 stars) is the hair trigger. It starts off with a nice low speed with tons of driving force but with just a little more on the trigger suddenly it will jump to just about full speed. It would be nice if it had an adjustable speed but for the price it is a great buy.
