Best strippers I have used,
These strippers are sharp, comfortable, and precise. I replaced a set of GB strippers with these and have been extremely satisfied. Small gage capability is especially helpful for me and it’s hard to find strippers that go down to 32AWG.

I have purchased two pairs of these and alas need to buy a third. I tend to loose them, although they are one of my most treasured tools. I work in audio video and with cat5 being a huge part of the industry, these guys are invaluable!
I also use and love:Klein 11055 Klein-Kurve Wire Stripper/Cutter, Blue but somehow never loose these.
You can’t go wrong with a Klein tool!

These stripper cutters were purchased from Amazon as a gift for me. They’re primarily for stripping small wire sizes — gauges 20-32, solid and stranded. They’re similar in design to Klein’s model 1412 Klein Tools 1412 Dual Non-Metal Cable Stripper and 12 to 14 Gauge Solid Wire Cutter. They’re very well made, and I’m happy to support a made-in-the-USA manufacturer. Handles are quite comfortable. Initially I thought the asymmetric shape favored right-handers, but it turns out to be equally comfortable for lefties too. Labeling is just okay (I dislike having to say this, because Klein clearly tried — they just didn’t pull it off). Let me explain: labels are silk-screened on the face side in a nice, high-contrast color, but will chip over time; on the back side, labels are stamped but not painted — they’ll last forever but are difficult to read. One permanent set of readable labels created by stamping/painting-the-imprint on the same side would be better than the two sets now. The strippers themselves are excellent — sharp, and properly sized to cut insulation without nicking the underlying copper. The cutting portion of the blade is generous, and equally sharp. There’s no play between the cutter halves, and the locking assembly can be adjusted with two hex wrenches (thank you, Klein). The locking tab is well designed and works single-handedly (thumb/index finger for right/left handers respectively) My biggest complaint is the plier-tip of the tool: its cross-cut ribbing is far too coarse for the wire sizes this tool is designed for, plus the ribbing is sharply ground, tending to tear outer insulation. It’s about right for 12-14 gauge wire but unusable for 20-32 gauge. For their intended purpose, the Klein 11057 Stripper/Cutter is an outstanding tool, and a joy to use. I might wish they were a bit smaller, but I appreciate the rigidity of the design. I highly recommend this product. I’d give it 4-1/2 stars if Amazon provided the option.
