   Purchased this pump in preparation for the hurricane. This is one of the kind pump capable of
   removing large solid waste from the sewage in case of a backup condition. It also requires that you house has a existing sewage pit a bit more than one foot in depth and width to house it. 2″ hard pipes are recommended along with a one way flow valve installed. One can also use 1″ soft flexiable tubings for draniage purpose. One way flow valve to me is optional for it will cost me $18. So I forgo it and the pump still works well. The cons of this pump as with all other pump I suppose is that the pump will not kick in until the water rises about a foot. And that is a lot of water that already built up !!!
