Great Little Siphon Pump.,
I have been using these pumps since the ’70s. I have used them for kerosene for kerosene heaters, transferring gasoline from one can to another, fueling motorcycles and small power equipment. The length of the pick-up tube is just right for most 5 gallon cans for liquids. To siphon, insert the pickup tube into the liquid, close the vent valve (the white knob on top – tighten clockwise), squeeze the bulb repeatedly until liquid begins to flow down the accordion tube, and relax and let the siphon action do the work. Before removing the pickup tube from the liquid, open the vent valve (counterclockwise), and wait for all the liquid to drain from the delivery tube.

|Excellent value for a simple pump,
I bought this pump to transfer gasoline from my snowthrower (which won’t be moving for several months) back into the fuel can, to use in my mower. Couldn’t be simpler… adjust the knob on the bulb slightly, and start pulsing the knob. Fuel comes up the rigid tube, then spills down through the flexible tube. Job done in about two minutes. For five bucks, you can’t beat it.
